Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Maintenance Wash
Every three months, run a 65°C wash programme without any dishes, using detergent. This helps in maintaining the internal cleanliness of the dishwasher.
Filter Cleaning
After each wash, clean the central filter by rinsing it under running water to remove food scraps. This ensures that the filter is free from blockages and the dishwasher operates efficiently.
Check Filters
Before starting a wash, ensure that all filters are clean and properly positioned. This prevents blockages and ensures effective cleaning.
Rinse Aid and Salt
Regularly check and refill the rinse aid and special salt as needed. These are essential for preventing lime deposits and ensuring that dishes are clean and dry.
Water Softener Adjustment
Ensure that the water softener is correctly adjusted according to the hardness of your water supply. This prevents lime scale buildup on dishes and within the machine.
